The State Charter School Facilities Incentive Grants Program is a federal grant program designed to assist high-performing charter schools with rent, lease, debt service, and Proposition 39 pro-rata payments or costs related to purchase, acquisition, design, new construction, and renovation.  The Authority is currently administering its third grant of $50 million, bringing the total award to $150 million.

Funding Round Thirteen (2017)

The application for funding Round 13 is anticipated to open on March 20, 2017.   Applications will be due approximately one month after the official release date.  The Authority is pleased to announce that applications may be submitted via an on-line application this funding round.  The Authority is requesting that all applications be submitted online.

All interested parties are encouraged to attend a webinar for the Program, which is scheduled for March 28, 2017 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.  The webinar will provide information regarding Program eligibility, deadlines, instructions on how to access the online application, and supplant/supplement awards, among other topics.  Sign up information for the webinar will be provided soon.
