CEFA’s Academic Assistance Grant Program assisted eligible private colleges and universities in creating and expanding their academic assistance programs that enhanced postsecondary educational opportunities for low income and very-low income California students in grades 7-12.
The Program promoted access to higher education and assisted in preparing students for college. Nine colleges and universities were awarded grants paid over a three year period. The program ended June of 2008. The Program assisted the following nine schools:
