This one-day seminar addresses a framework for developing and administering an internal control system to account for and report on the expenditure of bond proceeds. The seminar focuses on the principles of a control system to provide for the prudent management and disbursement of public funds and applies these to bond administration. The program will incorporate tools developed by the Task Force on Bond Accountability convened by the State Treasurer’s Office.

CDIAC is a State Bar of California approved MCLE provider. Attendance at this course will satisfy 6.5 hours of continuing education in accordance with MCLE Rule and Regulations. - CPE Credits
Government Code Section 27000.9 requires county treasurers, county tax collectors, or county treasurer-tax collectors to complete, at a minimum, 24 hours (or an equivalent amount of continuing education units) on or before June 30 during each two-year period in the disciplines of treasury management, public finance, public administration or governmental accounting. Attendance at this course will satisfy 6.5 hours of this requirement. - Other
