Consideration of Resolution X under the California Stem Cell Research and Cures Bond Act of 2004, supplementing and amending Resolution I (i) to authorize the sale of additional State of California Stem Cell Research and Cures Bonds or Commercial Paper Notes in the Aggregate Principal Amount Not to Exceed (a) the principal amount unissued under Resolution I as supplemented and amended by Resolution VIII of $275,704,000 and (b) an additional principal amount not to exceed $400,000,000 for a total principal amount not to exceed $675,704,000, and (ii) to provide for the negotiated sale of bonds to a purchaser or purchasers to be selected by the State Treasurer.
