Treasurer Chiang to Tour University of California (UC) Merced

WHAT: State Treasurer John Chiang to tour campus, meet with students and faculty, and deliver a public policy address at a reception at University of California, Merced. Faculty members, students, staff, invited guests, and members of the public to attend the public policy address.
WHEN: Thursday, May 5, 2016
2:30 pm Campus Tour and Lab Visit
3:15 pm Classroom Visit – Urban and Regional Economics
3:50 pm – 4:05 pm Meet with Media – (Media should confirm attendance)
4:05 pm Meet with economics and political science faculty members
6:30 pm – 7:30 pm Public Policy Address: “The Central Valley and the Renewal of the California Dream”
WHERE: UC Merced campus – see map
Public policy address – Dr. Lakireddy Auditorium, in the Classroom & Office Building (across from the Carol Tomlinson-Keasey Quad)
PARKING: Reporters may park in any unmarked and unreserved parking space on campus as long as their credentials are clearly displayed on their dashboards. You are encouraged to arrive early to allow time to find parking and walk to the venue.
