Treasurer Chiang and AARP Urge US Senators to Vote ‘No’ on Resolution Threatening Retirement Security for 6.8 Million Californians

SACRAMENTO – State Treasurer John Chiang will join AARP California and others to urge U.S. Senators to vote “No” on House Joint Resolution 66 and “Yes” to retirement security for up to 55 million Americans.

WHAT: Treasurer John Chiang will make a major announcement involving Wells Fargo Bank. Wells Fargo was recently
fined $185 million after it was found that thousands of bank employees opened more than two million fraudulent
consumer accounts to meet sales goals.
