Comments regarding Russia as related to PMIA/LAIF
The State's Pooled Money Investment Account, which includes the Local Agency Investment Fund, has NO direct exposure to Russia.
With respect to other financial instruments owned by the PMIA, please keep in mind that there MAY be some indirect exposure to Russia in one or more of our banking partners. We observe that these types of exposures would be subject to the federal sanctions, as ALL banks with which we do business are subject to a variety of federal regulations.
