On August 21, 2024, the CalSavers Retirement Savings Board adopted a strategic plan for fiscal years 2024-2029. The strategic plan is the formal framework which the board will follow in guiding the Program through its next phase of development and growth. Regular Rulemaking (September 8, 2025)
The CalSavers Retirement Savings Board has adopted regulations amendments that were approved by the Board in March 2025, enacted through the emergency rulemaking process in April 2025, and filed with the Secretary of State on September 8, 2025, which is also the date the regulations became effective. The amendments established and implemented an employer financial incentive program. The Notice of Approval for the Certificate of Compliance is included below:
Diverse, Ethnic, and Community Media Reporting
State agencies that expend funds on marketing, advertising, or outreach were required to develop a plan for increasing expenditures directed to ethnic and community media outlets serving priority populations, and are required to complete an annual report detailing progress in implementing that plan for the prior fiscal year. CalSavers marketing plan is included below:
