Community Services Infrastructure Grant Program Helps Riverside County Open a Jail Diversion Program in Riverside, California
The County of Riverside (County) recently held a virtual ribbon cutting ceremony for the Arlington Recovery Community (ARC) Program, a diversion/early intervention residential program, for justice-involved individuals experiencing co-occurring disorders. The ARC Program is anticipated to serve a total of approximately 648 individuals annually and will provide a fully integrated residential and outpatient approach to treating serious mental health illnesses and substance use disorders. Additionally, the ARC Program will be open 24/7 and will serve as an alternative drop-off facility for those who need mental health or substance use disorder treatment in place of jail or the emergency room.
