The State Charter School Facilities Incentive Grants Program is a federal grant program designed to assist high-performing charter schools with rent, lease, debt service, and Proposition 39 pro-rata payments or costs related to purchase, acquisition, design, new construction, and renovation. The Authority is currently administering its third grant of $50 million, bringing the total award to $150 million.

State Charter School Facilities Incentive Grants Program Funding Round Fifteenth (2019)

The application for the State Charter School Facilities Incentive Grants Program (CFDA 84.282D) – Round 15 is now available. Applications are available online and can be found at: csfaonline.treasurer.ca.gov/IGA

The State Charter School Facilities Incentive Grants Program Proposed Permanent Regulation

Pursuant to Government Code, Section 11346.4, the California School Finance Authority is providing Notice of its proposed rulemaking action for purposes of amending the State Charter School Facilities Incentive Grants Program regulations. The 45-day public comment period begins February 22, 2019 and ends on April 8, 2019. Please refer to the “Notice of Proposed Rulemaking Action” for further information on registering comments, concerns, or recommendations.
